In traditional programming, rules and instructions are explicitly provided to solve a problem. In machine learning, algorithms learn patterns and rules from data without being explicitly programmed, allowing them to make predictions or decisions.

The future of AI is expected to involve advancements in areas such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, AI ethics and regulation, human-AI collaboration, and the development of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) and super-intelligent AI. However, challenges related to ethics, societal impact, and regulation will need to be addressed responsibly.
